Move to Canada

Federal Skilled Worker

Does your skill or experience qualify you to immigrate to Canada as a Federal Skilled Worker?

Under the Federal Skilled Worker Class, you may be found eligible with specific skills or experience to fill Canada’s skill shortage.  In Canada and under the new plan, 310,000 newcomers were issued permanent residency in 2018, this increased to 330,000 newcomers in 2019. The target will increase to reach 340,000 newcomers to settle in Canada in 2020.

To qualify for Federal Skilled Class applicants must be able to reach specific CRS score determined by Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada. The applicant is assessed against a point-based assessment in areas related to age, education, skill, language & adaptability in Canada, to name some. Successful applicants will be permanent residents upon arrival to Canada.

This program is managed by Express Entry where all candidates enter a pool of applicants and the highest-ranking candidates will receive an invitation to apply for Permanent residence within 6 months.

Express Entry also manages the following immigration programs:

-Federal Skilled Trades Program

-Canadian Experience Class

Canadian Provinces and territories will also invite candidates in the Express Entry pool through the Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) to meet the provinces’ labour market needs. Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) is a speedy program as a province or territory will nominate an applicant in order to qualify and satisfy their in-demand list.

If you don't have sufficient CRS score & not enough to get you an invitation from the IRCC, contact us to find out how you can increase your score, or submit our free online assessment
